Daniel Judd (Juddy)

G’day! I’m Daniel.

Deep thinker, active discuss-er, engaged practitioner, Dairy Farmer. Currently Contract Milking in South Canterbury, both sides of my family have been farming longer than I can track on our family tree. Born in the Waikato and shifting south during the early dairy boom, my roots to the land and animals run deep. After a foray overseas, I found my way home and back to the industry. Looking forward we must balance environmental and economic outcomes, the rules of engagement for the previous 150 years will not be the same as the next 150.

 One policy change I’d like to see: Government agencies and councils must share information to consolidate compliance and avoid “double dipping” from Farmers/Growers.
