Hi!

I'm 27 years old farming in Eastcoast Marlborough. I have a passion for conservation, hunting, and the outdoors.

We farm cross breeds and merinos across two properties using extensive regenerative practices. Both of our farms bounder onto government conservation areas so my family has always been involved in protecting the flora and fauna.

When I get the opportunity I work as a hunting guide in the South Island and BC Canada, working in this industry also gives opportunities to protect and observe our wildest places.

I look forward to a future where government officials and farmers work together on a local level to enhance our industry and our natural areas.

One policy change I’d like to see: all future government subsidies for tree planting to be exclusively for natives and an ease on regulations around the native logging industry to encourage further development and plantings.

If I could choose one superpower: have an instantaneous way of building biodegradable or permanent fencing
