The Great Agri Debate
The Great Agri Debate featured the Primary Industries Spokespeople from 6 of the major political parties. The aim of the event was to provide a neutral platform for all of the spokespeople to present their view for agriculture going forward.
The spokespeople who participated were:
Hon Damian O'Connor (incumbent Labour Minister for Primary Industries)
Nicola Grigg (National Associate Spokesperson for Primary Industries)
Mark Patterson (New Zealand First Spokesperson for Primary Industries)
Mark Cameron (ACT Spokesperson for Primary Industries

Raf Manji (TOP leader)
The Co Hosts of the debate are Finn Ross (Young Labour) and Eve McCallum (Young National) who co-host the political podcast Both Sides Now which aims to break down political polarisation by showing that you can disagree politically but still be great mates. They are also board members of Future Farmers who are a group of young farmers, students, and urbanites, all passionate about the opportunities for the planet and the people that come from New Zealand farming.
