Hi there!

I am a third generation sheep farmer on The Montana Flat in Northern Southland. I’m passionate about rural enrichment, hopinh to use the transition of my family’s farm as an example of a farm of the future. I am is the founder of Future Whenua Charitable Trust which aims to advance ecological, sociological and technological solutions in the rural sector. I’m just as comfortable in the conference room as I am at home with chainsaw in hand. Inspired by the variety of life from high level concept to grassroots action.

One policy change I’d like to see: a design, implementation strategy, and fund for a national Biodiverse Hedgerow scheme

If I could choose one superpower: to give people an AR lens where they could see the landscape in its highest future potential as well as practical steps to get there.
